More than a pottery class, Wheel & Unwind is a chance to slow down, reconnect and enjoy the simple pleasure of creating something with your own hands. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or refreshing non-alcoholic beverage on arrival, settle in with a delicious grazing board, and discover the joy of the pottery wheel in Sarah Schembri’s beautiful Fitzroy studio. You’ll be guided by our experienced team in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

What’s Included:
- Two-hour beginner wheel throwing workshop
- Your own pottery wheel for the entire session
- Expert guidance from our experienced pottery team
- Premium stoneware clay, tools, aprons and towels
- Professional trimming, glazing and firing of your two favourite pieces
- Choice of glazes from our beautiful range of studio glazes
- Complimentary wine or non-alcoholic drink on arrival

Your Finished Pieces:
Choose your two favourite creations and leave the finishing touches to us.
Our studio team will carefully trim, glaze and fire your pieces in your chosen glazes. You’ll be able to collect your handcrafted pieces around 3 – 4 weeks later. Additional pieces can also be kept for $15 per small piece, payable on the day.
What to Wear:
- Comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little messy.
- Enclosed shoes are essential for safety.
- We recommend keeping your nails short and tying back long hair for the most comfortable experience working with clay.
Food & Dietary Requirements:
Non-alcoholic beverages, kombucha, soft drinks and sparkling water are offered.
Please let us know your dietary requirements when booking (vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available). While we do our best to accommodate food intolerances, we are unable to guarantee that no allergens will be present.
