Student Responsibilities
Class work will take approximately 3 weeks to fire after a workshop. Students will be notified by email when their work is ready and will have 2 weeks to collect their work. Due to space constraints in the studio, unless otherwise arranged after this time, uncollected work will be donated to a local charity.
Students are responsible to ensure that they do not have any prior medical illness or injuries that will be exacerbated by attending the selected class, and if unsure it is recommended for students to seek medical advice prior to attending any class.
Students are responsible for any physical injuries and for damage or loss of personal property, whilst at the studio. It is highly recommended that participants attend their class jewellery free. In particular, it is advised not to wear any rings, bangles, wristbands, watches or earrings. Short nails are strongly encouraged as long nails make pottery work difficult.
Students are required to wear appropriate comfortable clothing that can get dirty. Covered shoes are essential.
Students are required to bring their own towel and apron to each class. Tools and materials are provided.
Students agree to give Sarah Schembri Ceramics Pty Ltd unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at classes and arranged by Sarah Schembri Ceramics Pty Ltd for marketing purposes. If you would rather not be involved in this please let us know.
Workshops are designed to cater to a variety of skill levels and most workshops are suitable for complete beginners to more experienced levels unless otherwise stated in the workshop outline.
Sarah Schembri Ceramics Pty Ltd takes extreme care firing your work however accidents do happen from time to time. We are unable to guarantee that all your work will be successfully fired.
