"I attended Sarah's Handbuilding Flatware workshop last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. With Sarah's guidance, I was able to explore the possibilities of creating functional pieces away from the wheel. I was excited to be able to learn simple techniques to create flatware with organic forms and textures. It was really satisfying to be able to come up with an idea, devise a way of executing it, and seeing it realised in a finished piece.
Whether you're a beginner or you've worked with clay before, you're sure to take something away from this workshop which you'll treasure for a long time."

"Over the past year and a half Sarah's class has become the absolute highlight of my week. Sarah's classes are filled with demonstrations, techniques, zen-like meditation as we focus, bursts of laughter as we learn, and celebration as we improve.
Sarah demonstrates techniques slowly and repeatedly making sure you have a solid base of skills that you can build on as you gain confidence. Without fail, students leave with an addiction to pottery and the skills they need to keep making and learning. But mostly we just try our hardest to book in to Sarah's next class."

'I am currently in my second pottery course with Sarah and after already trying wheel throwing prior to this and having trouble with certain techniques, all it took was one quick tip from Sarah and I now have the technique down pat! That's just one example of why she's an amazing ceramicist. She passes on her passion and love for this therapeutic exercise to all her students. What I like most is that she is the perfect example of someone following their passion and dreams and she encourages all her students to do the same whether pottery is a hobby or something we wish to build into a career.
You are a true inspiration Sarah, and I'm sure we all thank you for that :)
