I was born in Melbourne, but grew up in rural Victoria on my parents cattle property. I spent the early 2000's living in Sydney attending the Workshop Arts Centre under Ceramic Artist Barbara Campbell-Allen. In 2006 I commenced part time study - Diploma in Arts, majoring in Ceramics - at Holmesglen Institute of Tafe however graduated from Ballarat University in 2010 with a Diploma in Ceramics.

I supply to a number of galleries and retail outlets in Australia including:  Craft Victoria, The Plant Room, Mr Kitly, Spacecraft and SMALLpieces. In addition to my commercial endeavours, I have been a finalist in several Ceramic awards including - Clunes Ceramic Award 2010, Ergon Energy Ceramic Award Rockhampton 2010, Manningham Victorian Ceramic Art Award 2011, Woollahra Small Sculpture Award 2012, Gold Coast International Ceramic Award 2014, and the Victorian Craft Awards 2015 & 2017.

I'm a tutor at Northcote Pottery Supplies in East Brunswick, where I was the Artist in Residence for 3 years until December 2015. I currently work from my studio at home in Port Melbourne.

My work is inspired by the diversity and beauty of the Australian landscape -  particularly rock formations with their contrasting textures and colours, and the affect of the changing seasons.

I'm passionate about creating functional, tactile and visually appealing ceramics, particularly tableware. Being a lover of cooking and food in general, I am interested in making pieces that are a pleasure to use in the home, pieces which are not only visually appealing but also functional & tactile. For me, there is something quite special about using pieces that are handmade - the experience and food taste better.

This is a feeling that I think about when I'm creating, it's part of the experience I want to share with others.
